Snow Caps

It's Christmas Time!!! I hope you've already unpacked all of your decoration and transformed your homes into glowing winter wonderlands. I absolutely love this time of year when everything is starting to transform for the holiday: sweet scents from the christmas markets and pine trees around town, busy streets as everyone is out searching for the perfect gifts for their loved ones, the first snow....and was I about to forget to mention the first christmas baking? I had that first time last week at my sisters place. I didn't want to make our family's typical christmas cookies, because that's my moms 'territory' and no one can reach her standards on those! So I decided to try out these delicious ones from a cute little Advent baking book from Landidee ( I have the one from the previous year).  I've already tried several of the cookies, but I find these ones are simply the best!

Ingredients:
-125g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
-50g soft butter
-75g brown sugar
-1 Tbsp. vanilla sugar
-1 Pinch salt
-1 egg
-150g flour
-2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. baking powder
-3-4 Tbsp. milk
75g icing sugar

Instructions:
1. Melt chocolate over a water basin. Whisk butter with sugars and salt. Add egg and melten chocolate. Fold in flour, cocoa and baking powder. The dough should not be too liquidy, if necessary add some more flour.
2. Cover and refridgerate for at least 2 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Take small portions from dough and form to small balls, flatten and cover with icing sugar. Spread on baking paper and bake for around 15 minutes. Leave to cool on a grid.
Enjoy!
